Chieftain's Wild Rice Lumberjack Soup is a rich, hearty blend of wild, brown, and red rice, mushrooms, grains, chunks of vegetables, and black rice beans. Season with our garlic, herb or savory seasoning and you'll have a sensational soup that is teaming with flavor! Delicious as is or easily converted into a classic creamy wild rice soup or cheesy beer soup.

Dry Roasted Wild Rice, Brown Rice, Kibbled Mushrooms, Carrot/Celery Mix, Red Rice, Job's Tears, Black Rice Beans, Red Quinoa, and Red Bell Pepper.
Herb Seasoning:
Dehydrated Onion, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Salt, Dextrose, Sugar, Red Bell Grans, Parsley Flakes, Autolyzed Yeast, Onion and Garlic Powder, Spice, Celery Grans, Spice Extractives including Turmeric and Celery and Corn Oil added as a blending aid.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:
- 10 oz pouch of Rice River Farms Wild Rice Lumberjack Soup
- Herb Seasoning Pouch (included)
- 7 cups of water, broth or stock
Combine soup blend and seasoning with water, broth, or stock in large stockpot. Bring to a boil. Stir; reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer until rice, grains and beans are tender, approximately 45 to 55 minutes.
Serve with crusty bread.
Yield:
Approx. 6 ½ to 7 cups of soup.
- Serve as is or easily alter it to reflect your own creative style!
- Make it a meal... add chicken or beef while simmering.
- Make a classic creamy wild rice soup by adding cream cheese and heavy cream.
- Cook it with some ale and add shredded cheddar when done to make a delicious cheesy beer soup.
- Try adding crushed tomatoes, beef and red wine.
- Top soup with popped millet or puffed quinoa.
- Soup can be frozen and reheated.
